How it works

Move from accounting data to recovery action in three steps.

Your accounting system remains your source of truth. Validate provides the workflow for acting on unpaid invoices.

1

Connect QuickBooks

Authorize Validate to securely read the company and receivables information needed for your recovery workflow.

2

Review overdue accounts

See imported customers, open invoices, balances, due dates, and recorded payments together before deciding what needs attention.

3

Start recovery

Select the appropriate account and continue through Validate's established invoice-recovery process without retyping the underlying data.

What Validate imports

The account information needed to understand what is still owed.

Validate uses QuickBooks Online's Accounting API to retrieve relevant receivables data. Availability depends on what is present in the connected QuickBooks company.

Customer detailsNames and available contact information associated with the account.
InvoicesInvoice identifiers, transaction dates, due dates, totals, and open balances.
Payment activityRecorded payments used to keep the outstanding amount current.
Company informationThe connected QuickBooks company name and identifier.

Secure by design

Your QuickBooks connection is read-only.

Validate retrieves the information required to support invoice recovery. It does not create, edit, delete, or mark transactions as paid inside QuickBooks.

  • OAuth authorization means you do not give Validate your QuickBooks password.
  • Access and refresh tokens are encrypted before storage.
  • You can disconnect the integration from QuickBooks.
  • Failed authorization requires reconnection instead of bypassing security checks.

Why daily updates matter

If a customer pays after an invoice enters a recovery workflow, the next import can reflect the updated payment and open balance. That helps reduce decisions based on stale accounting information.

Choose the right path

Registering and signing in are separate.

This distinction keeps a QuickBooks account from becoming a Validate membership without completing registration, payment setup, and approval.

New to Validate

Register with QuickBooks

Use your QuickBooks identity and company information to begin a new Validate registration.

  • QuickBooks identity is verified
  • Available company details prefill the registration
  • Payment method and approval are still required

Frequently asked questions

QuickBooks and Validate

Does Validate change anything in QuickBooks?

No. The integration is read-only. Validate does not create, edit, delete, or mark invoices or payments inside QuickBooks.

What QuickBooks data does Validate import?

Validate imports relevant company, customer, invoice, payment, open-balance, transaction-date, and due-date information available in the connected QuickBooks Online company.

How often is QuickBooks data updated?

Validate is configured to check connected companies daily. Members can also request the latest data from the QuickBooks connection page.

Is Sign in with Intuit the same as connecting QuickBooks?

No. Sign in with Intuit authenticates a linked Validate member. Connecting QuickBooks authorizes access to accounting data. They are deliberately separate functions.

Can an existing Validate member link an Intuit account?

Yes. Sign in with your Validate credentials, open the QuickBooks member page, and choose Link Intuit Sign-In. After linking, that Intuit identity can be used on the Validate login page.

Can someone with only a QuickBooks account enter Validate as a member?

No. A QuickBooks identity by itself does not grant Validate membership access. A new customer must complete registration, payment setup, and Validate's account-approval process.

How does the 30-day QuickBooks trial work?

Verified QuickBooks users can receive a 30-day free trial. A card is required, and the membership renews at $420 per year after the trial unless canceled. Account access remains subject to Validate approval.
