Debt Dispute

If you have received a notification of action from a VALIDATE member:

  • You have been reported because you have a delinquent account with the reporting business.
  • The business filing the report has made several attempts to collect the debt owed to them with unsatisfactory results.
  • The business filing the report is exercising its rights to report the delinquency to a consumer credit reporting agency in an effort to collect the debt.
  • All information obtained is in accordance with the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
  • If you feel you have been reported in error, or some of the information is inaccurate, you have the right to dispute inaccuracies per the FCRA. This however, does not mean that if a debt is valid it will be removed or altered by the debt dispute process. Only satisfactory resolution of the debt with the reporting business will alter the status of a valid debt.

To dispute a debt or correct inaccurate information please fill out the form below.
